Parking is available (fee) below the hotel. After you check in and get your parking pass proceed to the access road just north of the building. All the way to the end of the road, swipe your room key in front of the garage and the door will open. For over height parking take a left imediately after entering the garage. Normal height vehicles should proceed down to level 3 and park near the elevator there, this is the closest elevator to room 205. Take the elevator to floor 2 exit to the left, 3 doors down on your left will be room 205.
Ski lockers – NO SKIS OR BOARDS IN CONDO! Ski lockers are provided at no charge. When you check in the front desk will offer you a locker in the guest locker room located in the lobby, they will provide a lock as well. My personal Owners locker may be available and is located at the end of the hall, past the pools, on floor 2.
In the Condo
We are in the process of updating our beautiful condo, not that it needed upgrade but it is super fun to see new things every time you visit. This fall we added a new sleeper sofa (super comfortable bed) a new living room chair, new granite counters in the bathroom with sink and fixtures. Also new is a Bluetooth stereo system.
The bedding options are numerous, the standard set up is a king bed in the bedroom and the pull out sofa bed. The king bed has an optional split configuration allowing for 2 twin beds. In addition a inflatable double bed can be added next to the dining room table. Bedding can be found in the bedroom closet and also in the coffee table.MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY IS 4 ADULTS.
Heating - the thermostat for the heat is in the bedroom on the wall to the left as you enter.
Cooling- thermostat is on the wall just before the bedroom door.
Fireplace- on the wall just before the bedroom door you will find the controller. there is a little square button on the unit when it is pushed it immediately starts the fire. If this does not happen please call the front desk they will send someone up to help.
In-condo Owners Locker- you can find the door to the locker in the hallway from the bedroom to the bathroom across from the closet. If I have given you the keys use the big key to unlock the door. Once open find the locker marked 205A in the upper left corner use the small key to unlock that door. Please leave the other doors un-opened (some of the other owners don't lock theirs). In there you will find all sorts of goodies feel free to use what you would like but if you "take a something leave a something". You don't have to replace the exact thing but be kind and leave something for the next person to find.
Pool and amenities
One of the great thing about Legends at Creekside are the amenities. Legends amenities include 2 hot tubs (1 adult), swimming pool (pool and hot tubs are salt water based no chlorine, think the ocean but about 2/3rds less salt), game room, fitness gym, barby-q (on the pool deck), and theater. All of these are located on the same floor as our condo, just walk down the hall to find them. The pool is open 9am to 11pm. Movies in the theater can be organized via the front desk. Up on floor 5 there is a very large private sun deck with lounge chairs. This area is very private with a great view and rarely ever gets used.
Creekside getting around & attractions
Buses - Buses around Whistler are great and plentiful. The bus stops right out in front of Legends just under the skiers overpass bridge. To get to the village catch any bus that starts with a #2, options 20, 20X, 21, 25. The numbers 20, 21, 25 meander through the local neighborhood just north of Legends. The #20X is a direct route to the village. All routes take about 10 minutes and drop off at the gondola transfer station just up the stairs from the Dub Lin Gate Irish Pub. Buses come about every 5 to 15 minutes so if you miss one no need to worry another will be around shortly. If you are in the Village all the numbers are the same just catch anything that starts with a 2 and it will get you to Creekside. The bus is $2.50 each way so plan ahead and have cash or ride tickets. Legends front desk has bus tickets for sale if you need some.
Free Parking in the Village- Ha sure thing! and you believe in Santa Claus too. There are 5 parking lots in the Village, lots 1-3 are pay lots about $8cdn per day, lots 4 & 5 are $5 per day. The Village lots are free after 5pm so thats great for an evening out in the Village. The Creekside Parkade, just across the street from Legends is free all day but there is no overnight parking.
